Frequently Asked Questions 

 

1. Who is pcMinister? A) The Pentecostal Minister Training Network (pcMinister) is a training organization designed to bring acknowledged ministries before a studio audience to share their expertise. pcMinister is founded by Ken Gurley and Danny Johnson, two UPCI ministers in the Houston area. Several local ministers have joined with us to sponsor this endeavor. The organization itself operates within the structure of Second Chance Network, a Texas nonprofit corporation with Section 501(c)3 status. 

 

2. What does it cost to register? A) A $56.00/$64.00 license training package for each level will be required when registering.  

 

3. How long does each session take? A) Each video session is approximately 45-minutes in length. 

 

4. What should I expect when I open a sessions? A) First you will download a handout corresponding to each session and fill in the blanks as you view the selected training video. After you complete the training session, you will take an online multiple choice test. 

 

5. Do I have to complete each session (video & test) within the level of licensure to receive a certificate of completion? A) Yes 

 

6. What happens when I complete all my sessions within the level of licensure? A) Upon your completion of all sessions, pcMinister will provide you with a certificate of completion. 

 

7. Does pcMinister make the determination whether I receive my license or not? A) No, pcMinister only provides the training. Your UPCI District Board will make the determination. Some UPCI Districts have additional requirements to pcMinister training. 

 

8. Can I get a copy of my results? A) Yes, you will be able to download the results and we will email you a copy of your certificate. 

 

9. Can I still take the training even if I am not a minister nor plan to receive a ministerial license? A) Yes, many people have taken the pcMinister training to help them in their Christian understanding. Some Pastors are requesting their church leaders to take this training. Results and a certificate will be provided at the end of each level of training for your records.
